Deidre’s just come back from Neithernor with a new journal entry, and it’s a big one.
Could that be the Balimora guild hall? I… I really want to see it. It sounds amazing…

This also means that our brilliant, beautiful @Itsuki was right. I wish he could have seen this.
I believe he is, not here… Not in any concept we can understand, but I truly believe he is.
The best we can do for him now is open the book, and create the future for his daughter he always wanted for her, a future where magiq is available and the doors of Neithernor open.
Well. To get Fragment 13, we needed a series of directions to unlock the Chronocompass. To get Fragment 14 going, we needed a different set. Perhaps this is more significant than we knew.
And perhaps our work with Fletcher Dawson will lead us to a set of directions that will help Deirdre find her way closer to the red house.
Itsuki was more right than he could have imagined. About magiq in storytelling. In creation. Maybe he was on to something before any of us ever knew it. I wish he were here to be a part of this time with us, when everything is happening so fast.

I just went to the brownstone after work because I hadn’t heard from Dee.
The front window was completely shattered and the journal was on the living room floor, open, covered in glass.
I have no idea what’s going on or where Deirdre is.
Oh my god guys. She wrote a note inside the back cover of the journal. I just saw it when I got back. I’m such an idiot…
“It came for me. I’ve been trapped in Grey’s apartment for two days. Locked in against the storm. It’s in the walls. Trying to get in, even through phone. I need help. It knows I’ve been to Neithernor. Followed me here.”
What the hell do I do?
Okay so just to calm us down and prevent us from running in circles.
The journal was found in the brownstone, where a window was smashed.
Deidre’s phone and wallet were gone.
We also do not have the Chronocompass so potentially no way to start a new fragment to the past, even if we get there.
She’s trapped in Grey’s apartment.
So, if she enters our world the storm will get her. If she can use technology and does, the storm will get her.
Cole is on his way to the Ramble, so it’s a waiting game to see if that gives us any sort of insight to how to help.
Lots of questions.
Are we capable of distracting the storm?
Is that how we get her out?
Is there something else we can do to put the storm to rest?
What Magiq can we do, that is big enough to distract the storm, or hold it off to get her out?
Also don’t want to say this, but if she does get out, will it just continue to come after her because she’s been to Neithernor? So should we look at eliminating the storm rather than finding a way JUST to get Deeds out? She’s at least safe for now.

I hope he made it. All of this rests on him now.
We’re out. She’s safe. I made it in the warren and Dee showed up a few seconds later. We spent the night (two days) making sure it was gone. Dee’s gonna write up a post or two to explain everything, like how the journal got back to the brownstone. It’s nuts.
I’ve never seen anything like it. It moved so fast. There was this flash of light on the street that made it recoil for a second and bought me time to shut the door. Could’ve been a streetlight but I like to think it was you guys.
